Concord Regional Crimeline is a non-profit organization that partners with law enforcement and the communities they serve. Crimeline provides citizens with a way to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime. Cash rewards up to $1,000 are offered to citizens who provide information that leads to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property, or the seizure of illegal drugs. The Crimeline Board of Directors are all volunteers who are dedicated to making a difference in their communities by giving their time throughout the year to raise money and participate in crime prevention activities. They meet once a month to review cases solved from tips called in and they determine the reward to be paid based on guidelines set forth by their By-Laws. Concord Regional Crimeline is a member group of Crimestoppers International.
Concord Regional Crimeline was founded to promote law and order and the better enforcement of existing laws by assisting law enforcement agencies in the apprehension and conviction of criminals through making funds available for use in offering rewards.
