The Boscawen Police Department is investigating a series of break-ins to automobiles primarily in the southern end of town.
Some of the items recently taken include a black colored Ruger 9mm handgun model P-89 with ammunition and a holster. Also taken from a vehicle was a Toshiba Laptop Computer (color blue). All of the vehicles that have been entered were unlocked and the thefts appear to be happening after dark.

The
Boscawen Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place on
Thursday morning, September 4th, 2003 around 12:15 AM at the
Cumberland Farms Store located on King Street. Two white males between the
ages of 18 & 23 entered the store wearing black hooded sweatshirts, and blue
bandanas over their face.
These
suspects showed handguns to the clerk and left with an undetermined amount of
money and 7 cartons of cigarettes, along with the clerk's wallet.
