Release Date:  July 30, 2010 - Theft of Pocketbook at Wal-Mart

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspects in a recent theft of a pocketbook that occurred in the parking lot of a Concord business.

 

The crime under investigation occurred on June 30th at approximately 10:30 pm at Wal-Mart located at 344 Loudon Road.  The victim’s purse was in her vehicle when her son borrowed the car to go to Wal-Mart. The victim’s vehicle was not locked when the son went into the store to shop.  When the victim’s son returned a short time later the purse was gone.

 

The purse is black leather with a silver buckle. The purse contained identification, credit cards, and an undisclosed amount of money.

 

The suspects have been identified as two white males in their late teens to early twenties. One suspect had dark hair and was wearing a white tee-shirt with tan shorts. The second suspect had light brown hair and was wearing a dark colored button up shirt with vertical stripes and dark colored pants.  The suspects are seen on video going into the victim’s vehicle.

 

The suspects were seen driving from the scene in a white Ford Pickup.  Evidence has been recovered in relation to this incident.

 

The Concord Police Department has recovered video surveillance from store security and is asking the public to assist in identifying the individuals of interest depicted in the photograph.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Release Date:  July 27, 2010 - Graffiti at Rundlett Middle School

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in acts of vandalism that were discovered on July 13th.

 

The incident occurred between 7:30 pm on July 12th and 5:30 am on the 13th at Rundlett Middle School, 144 South Street.  The vandalism was discovered by a custodian. Various areas of the exterior of the school had been spray painted with derogatory remarks. The graffiti was made using white paint. Examples of the graffiti were “Mary Jane”, “420”, and “Stop snitchin”.

 

There were additional areas to include exterior windows and doors that were completely spray painted in white with no remarks. The damage has been estimated at over $700.00.  Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation (refer to attached photos).

Release Date:  July 23, 2010 - Burglary at Merrimack Sheet Metal

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent burglary of a local business.

 

On July 14th at approximately 6:05 am an Officer from the Concord Police Department responded to Merrimack Sheet Metal, 119 Hall Street, upon receiving a complaint that the business had been burglarized.  The officer met with a representative of the company who explained that an undisclosed amount of money had been stolen from a safe.

 

The burglary occurred between 7:30 pm on July 13th and 5:30 am on July 14th.

  

Entry was made into the building by breaking a window. Once inside the business the perpetrators forced a number of locked doors to various offices before locating the safe. Force was used to open the safe.

 

Evidence has been collected in reference to this crime.

 

 


Release Date:  July 9, 2010 - Burglary & Theft of Copper

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent burglary at a local business.

 

On July 8th at approximately 8:15 am an Officer from the Concord Police Department responded to Fairpoint, 1 Horseshoe Pond Lane, upon receiving a complaint that wire had been stolen.  The officer met with a representative of the company who explained that a large amount of copper wire that had been stored in a secured garage bay had been stolen. The method of entry into the building is not being disclosed at this time.

 

The perpetrator(s), using a forklift, moved a large spool containing the wire from the garage bay to the yard where it was cut.  The theft occurred between 5:00 pm on July 7th and 6:45 am on July 8th.  Evidence has been collected in reference to this crime.

 

Stolen was 550 feet of DCTZ3600 copper wire manufactured by Superior Essex.  The value of the wire is estimated at $11,000.00

 

This is the second theft of wire that has occurred at Fairpoint in as many weeks. On July 1st Fairpoint reported that copper wire had been stolen from their secured yard. Stolen in that incident was 214 feet of BKMA900 copper wire manufactured by Superior Essex.  The value of the wire was estimated at $2,820.00.

 


Release Date:  July 2, 2010 - Theft of Copper

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent theft from a local business.

 

On July 1st at approximately 9:15 am an Officer from the Concord Police Department responded to Fairpoint, 1 Horseshoe Pond Lane, upon receiving a complaint that wire had been stolen.  The officer met with a representative of the company who explained that a large amount of copper wire had been stolen from a storage area.

 

The theft occurred between 4:00 pm on June 30th and 6:45 am on July 1st.   Evidence has been collected in reference to this crime.

 

Stolen was 214 feet of BKMA900 copper wire manufactured by Superior Essex. White lettering indicating the manufacturer, wire length and wire type is imprinted on thick black plastic that encases the copper. The value of the wire is estimated at $2,820.00

 


Release Date:  June 25, 2010 - Sexual Assault at Park Street

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect in a recent sexual assault that occurred at a Concord office building.

 

The crime under investigation occurred at 12:30 pm on June 1st at 4 Park Street.  At the time of the incident, the female victim was walking in the hallway of the office building when she was approached by a white male with “olive skin” who indicated he was in the building for a job interview but could not locate the business.  The victim indicated she was familiar with the businesses in the building and offered to help the suspect.  As the victim was speaking to the suspect he grabbed her and groped her in a sexual manner.  The suspect is accused of touching the victim’s private body parts.

 

The suspect fled the building after the assault.

 

The suspect was described as being a white male, between 40-50 years of age, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, with a medium build.  The suspect has dark curly hair with a receding hairline.  The suspect was wearing a white tank top with gold jewelry around his neck.  He spoke with an unknown accent.

 

The victim was transported to the Concord Hospital by the Fire Department where she was treated and released.

Release Date:  May 14, 2010 - Vandalism on Gates & A Streets

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspects in acts of vandalism that occurred in a residential neighborhood during the early morning hours of May 9th.  

 

The Concord Police investigated four acts of vandalism that occurred at approximately 2:00 am on May 9th.   All four incidents are believed to have been caused by the same suspects.

 

The first three incidents occurred on Gates Street. A vehicle belonging to the resident at 7 Gates Street was vandalized.  The vehicle had debris thrown onto it causing minor damage.  A vehicle belonging to the resident of 12 Gates Street was also vandalized.  The vehicle sustained a broken window and body damage. The estimated damage to the vehicle is over $500.00.  In addition to the vehicles being damaged, the landscaping at 11 Gates Street sustained minor damage.

 

The fourth incident occurred in the same neighborhood but on A Street.  A vehicle belonging to the resident at 7 A Street was damaged.  The perpetrators broke windows to the vehicle and caused body damage.  The estimated damage to the vehicle is over $500.00.

 

The acts of vandalism were discovered by a resident of A Street, who awoke to noise outside his residence.  He confronted two young white males outside who ran from the scene.  They are both described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build.  They were both wearing shorts and sneakers, one was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and the other a plaid or stripped flannel hooded shirt.

 

Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Release Date:  May 4, 2010 - Abuse of a Corpse

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in an act of vandalism that resulted in the disturbance of a grave site at Blossom Hill Cemetery.

 

On May 3rd an individual visiting the cemetery reported to the Cemetery Division that a grave appeared to have been unearthed.  Investigating officers observed that a grave site had been partially uncovered but could not determine if the corpse had been disturbed.  The grave was that of “Baby John”, the mummified fetus that was put to rest at Blossom Hill Cemetery in 2008.

 

Detectives obtained a court order to exhume the grave and learned that the corpse had been removed.  The corpse of “Baby John” has not been recovered.

 

“Baby John” was buried in an unmarked grave and only a limited number of individuals knew of the location.  Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation.  Disturbance of a burial site and abuse of a corpse are felonies in the State of New Hampshire.

 


Release Date:  April 27, 2010 - Graffiti at Legislative Parking Garage & Rollins Park

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in acts of vandalism that were discovered on April 22nd and 23rd.

 

The first incident occurred between 5:30 pm on April 21st and 7:00 am on the 22nd at the Legislative Parking Garage.  The vandalism was discovered by State House security. Various areas throughout the garage had been spray painted with derogatory remarks. The graffiti was made using blue, green, and red paint. Examples of the graffiti were “Death to Niggers”, “White Power”, and “AIDS are Awesome”.

 

The second incident occurred between 3:00 pm on April 22nd and 9:00 am on the 23rd at Rollins Park.  The vandalism was discovered by an officer on foot patrol in the park.  The officer observed that a dugout had been spray painted with derogatory remarks. The graffiti was made using blue, red and white paint.  Examples of the graffiti include “Fag” and “Death to Niggers”.

 

Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation.

 


Release Date:  April 5, 2010 - 2nd Armed Robbery at West Street Market

 

The Concord Police Department is looking for assistance from the public in identifying the individual responsible for the armed robbery of a local business.

 

The robbery occurred at the West Street Market located at 60 West Street on April 3rd at approximately 7:51 pm. The suspect entered the market and pointed a hand gun at the clerk.  The suspect demanded money and Marlboro cigarettes.  The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Evidence was collected from the scene.

 

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 20 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighting 150-160 lbs.  The suspect was wearing dark glasses and a grey hooded sweatshirt.

 

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

 

 The West Street Market was previously robbed on March 8th under similar circumstances. The suspect in both incidents appears to be the same.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Release Date:  March 12, 2010 - Theft from Vehicle at Planet Fitness

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent theft from a vehicle that occurred in the parking lot of a Concord business.

 

On March 10th between 3:00 and 4:30 pm a vehicle located in the parking lot of Planet Fitness was broken into.  Personal property belonging to the owner was removed from the vehicle.  Planet Fitness is located at 89 Fort Eddy Road. 

 

Taken during the theft was a silver colored handbag and money.  Entry into the vehicle was made by breaking a window.

 

There are no suspects at this time.  

 


Release Date:  March 9, 2010 - Armed Robbery at West Street Market

 

The Concord Police Department is looking for assistance from the public in identifying the individual responsible for the armed robbery of a local business.

 

The robbery occurred at the West Street Market located at 60 West Street on March 8th at approximately 8:15 pm. The suspect entered the market and pointed a handgun at the clerk.  The suspect demanded money and Marlboro cigarettes.

Release Date:  February 10, 2010 - Theft at Sam's Club

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect in a series of thefts that occurred at a Concord business.

 

The crime under investigation occurred on November 10th at Sam’s Club located at 304 Sheep Davis Road.  The suspect in this incident is a heavy set black male and he is accused of stealing numerous DVDs from the store without making a purchase. The stolen merchandise has a value of $100.00.

 

Sam’s Club security has determined that the suspect had been in the store on four previous occasions and had stolen numerous DVDs.  The investigation has revealed that this suspect has been committing similar thefts at Sam’s Clubs throughout New England.

 

In each incident in Concord the suspect wore similar clothing. The suspect wore a white or gray button down shirt, black leather coat, black pants and black shoes. It is believed that the suspect may operate a white van with a NY registration.

Release Date:  February 5, 2010 - Concord Home Invasion

 

The Concord Police Department responded to a Green Street apartment at approximately 10:30 p.m. on February 4, 2010 for a report of a possible armed home invasion.

 

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the residents who relayed that they heard a knock on the door and when the male tenant answered he was knocked to the ground by the first of three males that entered.  The first male held a handgun and ordered the male to kneel and face the wall.  The female tenant, who was in the kitchen, came out into the living room and saw what was going on and next remembered being on her knees facing the wall.  Two other males entered the residence and ransacked part of the living room and kitchen.  There were no injuries during this incident.  The couple’s two young children were asleep upstairs at the time.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the residence.  The handgun was described as a black semi-automatic.

 

The first male suspect was described as a white male approximately 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, wearing jeans and a black hoodie pulled up over his head.  There is no description for the other two males.  This is no additional information available at this time. 

 


Release Date:  January 13, 2010 - Counterfeit Money

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying a person of interest in a recent fraud that occurred at a Concord business.

 

The crime under investigation occurred on December 30th at 2:00 pm at the Market Basket located at 80 Storrs Street.  The suspect in this incident is a white male.  He is suspected of passing a counterfeit bill when paying for merchandise.

 

The suspect was wearing sunglasses, a black knit cap with horizontal white stripes, a tan waist length jacket, a dark shirt and blue jeans.

 

The suspect passed a counterfeit twenty dollar bill ($20.00).  Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation.  The Concord Police Department is also investigating similar incidents where counterfeit twenty dollar bills were passed at additional local businesses.

 

The Concord Police Department has recovered video surveillance from store security of this crime and is asking the public to assist in identifying an individual of interest depicted in the photographs.  The photos provided with this release show a white male in Market Basket on December 30th at 2:00 pm.  The suspect is being sought for fraud. 

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Release Date:  December 30, 2009 - Flim-Flam Scam at Wal-Mart

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect in a recent scam of a local business.

 

On 12/15/09 a Concord Police Officer responded to Wal-Mart located at 344 Loudon Road to investigate a flim-flam scheme perpetrated against the business. The officer learned that on November 24th a suspect successfully scammed a clerk when making a purchase resulting in the suspect receiving more cash than entitled. The suspect, described as being a black female, left the store after fraudulently obtaining in excess of $100.00.  It’s believed that the suspect is traveling with a white female.

 

The scam occurred when the suspect made a small purchase with a $100.00 bill.  After receiving change, the suspect purposely confused the clerk by changing her mind frequently about how she wanted the change returned to her.  The quick exchange of cash led to the suspect receiving more than her initial change on the small purchase using a $100.00 bill.

 

The Concord Police Department has recovered video surveillance from store security and is asking the public to assist in identifying individuals of interest depicted in the photographs. Release Date:  December 24, 2009 - Robbery at Apartment

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspects in a recent robbery that occurred at a Concord apartment complex.

 

On December 22nd at approximately 10:15 pm the Concord Police Department responded to 85 Manchester Street, Building # 3, to investigate a robbery.  At that location officers met with a twenty year old male victim of the robbery.  The victim reported that when he arrived home he entered the building and walked up the rear staircase to his apartment. The victim alleged that when he reached the top of the staircase he was attacked by two white males. The victim stated that he was beaten and robbed of his personal property.

 

The victim stated that the attackers took his wallet, containing cash, a diamond earring and a blue and silver Nike sling backpack.

 

The suspects were described as white males in their 20’s, both reported to be  tall and thin with short brown hair, one was wearing a white shirt and the other a grey shirt, both were wearing jeans. The suspects fled the area on foot.

 

 Evidence has been recovered in relation to this incident.

 


Release Date:  December 1, 2009 - Shoplifting at Burlington Coat Factory

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspects in a recent theft of merchandise that occurred at a Concord business.

 

The crime, under investigation, occurred on November 14th at approximately 4:00 pm at Burlington Coat Factory located at 50 Storrs Street. The suspects in this incident are two white females in their late teens to early twenties.

 

They are accused of taking merchandise from the store without making a purchase.  The suspects fled in a silver Pontiac Grand Prix.  The value of the property stolen is more than $700.00. Evidence has been recovered in relation to this incident.

Release Date:  October 16, 2009 - Burglary of CRW Landscaping Trailer at Cole Gardens

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent commercial burglary involving the theft of a large amount of landscaping equipment.

 

On the morning of Thursday, October 8th the Concord Police Department responded to Cole Gardens, 430 Loudon Road to investigate a burglary.  The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred between October 7th at 3:00 pm and 7:30 am on the 8th.  The perpetrator(s) accessed a trailer on the property being rented by CRW Landscaping and removed the equipment.

 

The following items were stolen:

 

In addition the perpetrator(s) also stole four gas cans, two small chain saws, a tool box and assorted tools.  The estimated value of the stolen equipment is $7,000.00. 

 

Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation. There are no suspects at this time.

 


Release Date:  September 22, 2009 - Burglary/Theft of Copper at Granite Group

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent commercial burglary involving the theft of a large amount of copper from a local plumbing supply business.

 

On the morning of Monday, September 21, 2009 the Concord NH Police Department responded to the Granite Group, 6 Storrs Street, for the report of a burglary that occurred over the weekend.  Sometime between Friday evening September 18, 2009 and Monday morning September 21, 2009 the suspect(s) forced entry into the warehouse at Granite Group and stole a large amount of copper consisting of assorted copper fittings and copper tubing.

 

The estimated value of the stolen material is $20,000.00.

 


Release Date:  September 17, 2009 - Theft of Sign at Concord OBGYN

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent theft.

 

On August 28th at approximately 3:45 pm an Officer from the Concord Police Department responded to 189 North Main Street, Concord OBGYN, upon receiving a complaint that a sign had been stolen.  The Officer met with a maintenance employee who explained that a large red sign with a pink boarder located in front of the building had been stolen. The sign measures 30 inches x 42 inches and reads “Concord Obstetrics & Gynecology”.

 

The theft occurred between 7:00 pm on August 27th and 1:00pm on the 28th.  In addition to the sign being stolen, spot lights used to illuminate the sign were damaged.

 

The value of the sign is estimated at $2,880.00.

 

 

 

 


Release Date:  September 10, 2009 - Hit & Run at Pleasant Street/Kensington Road

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect in a recent hit and run accident.

 

On September 1st at approximately 4:46 pm Officers of the Concord Police Department responded to the intersection of Pleasant Street and Kensington Road to investigate a motor vehicle collision. Officers arriving at the scene learned that one of the three vehicles involved had fled the scene.

 

The victim explained that he was eastbound on Pleasant Street and had stopped behind another vehicle waiting to turn left onto Kensington Road. The victim observed a silver or tan 4 door Subaru approach from the rear. The Subaru failed to stop, rear-ending the victim’s silver colored Saturn.  The force of the impact pushed the victim’s vehicle into another vehicle waiting to turn left onto Kensington Road.  The victim’s vehicle sustained rear-end damage.  No injuries were reported as a result of this accident.

 

The suspect, described as a white male in his late teens with long blond hair, stopped and exited his vehicle. The suspect looked at the damage to the victim’s vehicle but fled when he was informed that the police had been notified of the accident.  The suspect got back into his vehicle and was last seen northbound on Kensington Road. The suspect’s vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper, grill and hood.

 

 The Concord Police is seeking to locate the suspect vehicle and identify the operator.

 


Release Date:  August 21, 2009 - Credit Card Fraud

 

The Concord Police Department is looking for assistance from the public in identifying two individuals possibly responsible for fraudulently using a stolen credit card.

 

On 06-23-09 at approximately 1950 hrs, the Concord Police responded to the Gold’s Gym, 2 Home Avenue, for the report of a theft.   A patron of Gold’s Gym discovered that her vehicle had been broken into and her purse had been taken while she worked out at the gym.

 

It was later reported that the victim’s credit card was used at two Concord businesses. The first transaction occurred on 06-23-09 at 1918 hrs at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street in the amount of $40.25.   The second transaction occurred on the same day at 1929 hrs at the Fort Eddy Road Rite Aid in the amount of $217.48.

 

The possible suspects were captured on video surveillance using the credit card.  Anyone recognizing the two individuals in the photographs are asked to contact the Concord Police or the Concord Regional Crimeline.

Release Date:  August 6, 2009 - Elderly Alert

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent string of crimes including burglary and theft targeting the elderly.

 

On June 5th a 92 year old Concord resident reported a theft whereby two white males claimed to be repairing water lines and needed access to the home.  One suspect kept the victim busy while the other entered the residence and removed envelopes containing a substantial amount of cash. The suspects in this incident were driving a light colored pick-up truck. This incident occurred in the South Street area at approximately 2:30 pm.

 

On August 4th another 92 year old Concord resident was approached at his home by three white males driving a silver colored Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck possibly displaying a Maine registration.  The suspects claimed to be working for a company installing fencing in the area.  One suspect kept the victim busy while another went into the residence and attempted to remove a small safe. This incident occurred in the Hoit Road area at approximately 11:50 am.

 

Although no suspects have been identified, evidence has been recovered in relation to these crimes.  These incidents are believed to be related.

 

The Concord Police Department is asking that if anyone saw suspicious activity in the area during the times noted to call the Concord Police Department or the Concord Regional Crimeline.

 


Release Date:  July 23, 2009 - Shooting (Pillsbury Street)

 

The Concord Police Department is looking for assistance from the public in identifying an individual who claimed to have sustained a gunshot wound.

 

On July 20th at approximately 7:35 pm officers from the Concord Police Department responded to 52 Pillsbury Street for two white males fighting in the roadway.  Upon arrival, the males who had been fighting had fled the scene.

 

The responding officers learned from witnesses that during the altercation one of the males brandished a handgun and struck the other with it.  During this exchange the gun discharged.

 

At approximately 8:49 pm the Concord Police Department received a call from an employee of the Comfort Inn on Hall Street stating that an individual had been in the establishment approximately one half hour earlier complaining of a gunshot wound to the head.  Responding officers learned that an individual wearing a white tank top and a black baseball cap came into the Inn at approximately 7:00 pm.  The individual asked to use the telephone.

 

The individual told the employee that he had been shot in the head and showed her the wound. The employee indicated that there was blood coming from the wound.  The individual asked that the employee not call an ambulance.  After using the telephone the individual left.

 

These two incidents appear to be related.  The description of one of the males at the Pillsbury Street incident closely matches that of the person who is seen on video surveillance at the Comfort Inn.  The Concord Police Department has recovered this video from security and is asking the public to assist in identifying the subject depicted in the photographs.

 

The other individual of interest in this incident is a white male wearing a red polo shirt.  He fled the Pillsbury Street incident in a silver Audi with a green hood.

Release Date:  July 8, 2009 - Credit Card Fraud at Shaw's

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspects in a fraudulent credit card scheme perpetrated against a Concord business.

 

The fraudulent scheme has occurred at Shaw’s Supermarkets throughout the area between June 25th and as recent as July 5th.  On July 1st the Shaw’s located at 20 D’Amante Drive was targeted by the suspects.  The fraud committed at the Concord Shaw’s resulted in a loss in excess of $1,000.00.  It is alleged that the suspects purchased multiple cartons of cigarettes with fraudulent credit cards.

 

Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation. The Concord Police Department has recovered video surveillance from store security of this crime and is requesting the public’s help in identifying three individuals of interest depicted in the video.  The video shows the individuals entering the Concord Shaw’s after 9:27 am on July 1st.  The video also depicts a vehicle allegedly being used by the suspects in the parking lot. The vehicle appears to be a white four door full size pickup.  The video is in the process of being evaluated and enhanced.

 

It is believed that the suspects in this incident are active in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and have accounted for over $10,000.00 in losses.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Release Date:  March 31, 2009 - Burglary at Coles Appliance Center

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in the recent burglary at Coles Appliance Center, 254 Sheep Davis Road (Rt. 106) Concord, NH

 

On Monday 3/30/09 the Concord NH Police Department responded to Cole’s Appliance Center, 254 Sheep Davis Road (Rt. 106), for the report of a burglary that had occurred sometime over the weekend.  Further investigation suggests that the burglary most likely occurred late Sunday night (3/29/09) into early Monday morning (3/30/09).

 

Entry was made through the back door of the warehouse portion of the store and numerous appliances were stolen to include refrigerators, washers, dryers, over the range microwaves and air-conditioning units.  All of the items were in their original boxes.  It appears that a large white box truck was used in the burglary.  This truck was stolen from the Community Action Program at #2 Industrial Park Drive in Concord. The truck was recovered on Commerce Way in Pembroke NH, just a few miles from the burglary.  It was empty at the time of recovery.  Evidence suggests that the suspects may have unloaded the stolen property onto another box truck that may have been stolen from a business in the area of Commerce Way.

 


Release Date:  March 12, 2009 - Burglary (Penacook School)

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in the recent burglary of a Penacook school.

 

Between 4:00 pm on March 3rd and 7:00 am on March 4th the Washington Street School located at 26 Washington Street was burglarized. The burglary was discovered by the principal arriving for work.

 

Entry was gained into the school through unknown means. Various rooms and desks within the school were entered and gone through.  Evidence was collected from the scene. 

 

The school reported that a Canon Digital Video Camcorder, a Canon Powershot Camera, a set of keys and a small amount of US currency were taken in the burglary.  The combined value of the items taken is in excess of $500.00.

 

The interior of the school also received damage as a result of acts of vandalism. The cost of the repairs is not known at this time.

 

There are no suspects.  

 


Release Date:  March 6, 2009 - Burglary (MVHS)

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent burglary of a Penacook school.

 

Between February 20th and March 3rd Merrimack Valley High School located at 106 Village Street was burglarized. The burglary was discovered by teachers returning from February school vacation.

 

Entry was gained into the school through unknown means. Evidence was collected from the scene. 

 

The school reported that three (3) Apple Mac Book laptops were taken in the burglary.  The combined value of the items taken is in excess of $2,400.00.  The suspect(s) also committed acts of vandalism while in the school by smearing feces on computer screens located in the auditorium.

 

There are no suspects at this time.  

 


Release Date:  January 15, 2009 - Residential Burglary

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent burglary of a Concord residence.

 

Between 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm on January 14th the residence located at 166 West Parish Road was burglarized.  A resident at that address reported the crime to the Concord Police Department upon returning home and finding the residence unsecured.  

 

Entry was gained into the residence by breaking a window. Evidence was collected from the scene. 

 

The resident reported that a XBOX 360 was taken from the residence during the burglary.  The combined value of the XBOX is approximately $300.00.

Release Date:  January 9, 2009 - GNC Burglary

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect in the recent burglary of a local business.

 

On December 26th the GNC Nutrition Center located at 40 Fort Eddy Road was burglarized. The burglary was discovered by an employee of an adjoining business arriving for work. The employee noticed that a glass entrance door had been broken and notified the police.

 

The investigation revealed that entry to GNC was gained by smashing the entrance door with a hard object. The crime occurred at 2:32 am and is captured on video. Evidence was collected from the scene.  GNC reported that merchandise and a large amount of cash were taken during the commission of this crime.

 

The Concord Police Department has recovered video surveillance from store security of this crime and is asking the public to assist in identifying the suspect depicted in the photographs. The photos show a white male in GNC on December 26th at approximately 2:32 am.

 

 

 

 

 


Release Date:  December 24, 2008 - Apothecary Express Pharmacy Burglary

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent burglary of a local business.

 

Between 8:00 pm on Monday December 8th and 2:53 am on Tuesday December 9th the Apothecary Express Pharmacy located at 121 Loudon Road was burglarized. The burglary was reported to the Concord Police Department by an alarm company.

 

The investigation revealed that force was used to gain entry to the pharmacy. Evidence was collected from the scene. 

 

Apothecary Express Pharmacy reported that cash and prescription drugs were taken during the commission of this crime. The value of the prescription drugs is estimated to be in excess of thirteen thousand dollars ($13,000.00)

 

There are no suspects at this time. The Concord Police Department is asking that if anyone saw suspicious activity in the area during the time noted to call the Concord Police Department or the Concord Regional Crimeline.

 


Release Date:  November 13, 2008 - Burglary at Concord Cooperative Market

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in the recent burglary of a local business.

 

Between 11:00 pm on Sunday, November 9th and 4:50 am on Monday, November 10th the Concord Cooperative Market located at 24 South Main Street was burglarized.  The burglary was discovered by an employee arriving for work. The employee noticed that a side entrance door had been breached and notified the police.

 

The investigation revealed that entry to the Concord Cooperative Market was gained by breaking the entrance door on the south side of building.  Evidence was collected from the scene. 

 

Concord Cooperative Market reported that a gray safe and a large amount of cash were taken during the commission of this crime. The safe was taken from an interior office.

 

There are no suspects at this time. The Concord Police Department is asking that if anyone saw suspicious activity in the area during the time noted, please call the Concord Police Department or the Concord Regional Crimeline.

 


Release Date:  August 1, 2008 - Burglary (Dakin Street)

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent burglary.

 

On 7/25/08 at approximately 6:41 pm an Officer from the Concord Police Department responded to 15 Dakin Street upon receiving a complaint that an apartment had been broken into and guns had been stolen.  The apartment had been secure but entry was gained through unknown means. The victim indicated that the cost to replace the guns would be approximately two thousand dollars.

 

The burglary occurred between 7:00 am on the 19th and 6:41 pm on the 25th.  The scene was processed for evidence.

 

Stolen from the apartment were the following items:

 

·        Two HI Point .45 cal semi-automatic handguns

·        A HI Point 9mm carbine

·        A Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun

·        A Rossi rifle/shotgun combination

 

No other items were reported stolen in this incident.

 


Release Date:  July 1, 2008 - Arson

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in an act of arson.

 

The arson occurred at Transformer Service, Inc. (TSI), 74 Regional Drive. The fire was discovered by an employee arriving for work at 5:00 am on June 26th. The employee discovered one of the company’s vehicles on fire when he arrived for work. The vehicle was identified as a white 2001 Chevrolet van. The heat from the fire also damaged a vehicle nearby. The second vehicle was described as a white 2003 Ford F750 truck. The Chevrolet was a total loss while the Ford sustained moderate damage.  An estimate of the damage to both vehicles is expected to exceed $ 11,000.00.

 

The Chevrolet was last used on June 25th and was parked at the location discovered at approximately 7:00 pm. The vehicle was parked adjacent to a garage on TSI property.

 

This is a joint investigation being conducted by personnel from both the Concord Police and Fire Departments. Evidence has been collected in relation to this investigation. The fire has been deemed suspicious by investigators.

 


Release Date:  April 28, 2008 - Attempted Robbery

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect in a recent attempted robbery.

 

On April 28th   at approximately 3:30 pm, Officers of the Concord Police Department responded to The Medicine Store, 74 South Main Street for a reported Attempted Robbery that had just occurred where the lone male subject fled on foot.  Officers immediately began checking the area but did not locate the individual.  The individual was described as:

 

 

White male possibly between 35-40 years of age

Approximately 5’10” to 6’02” tall

Weighing approximately 180 pounds

Wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up,

baggy blue jeans, dark colored baseball hat with an unknown logo on it,

dark colored sunglasses and several days growth of reddish/blond colored facial hair/beard

 

 

 

 

The subject had been into the store approximately 45 minutes before this incident asking how many Oxycontin that the store kept in stock.  Upon being told a low number, the subject left.  When he arrived the second time he told the clerk that he had a handgun and demanded that the clerk place all of the Oxycontins into a plastic bag that the assailant provided.  The assailant and the male clerk got into a brief struggle after which the assailant left on foot.

 

No weapon was seen or shown during this incident and there were no injuries reported.  A composite drawing has been done and has been sent with this release.

 


Release Date:  March 6, 2008 - Burglary

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in a recent burglary.

 

Between the evening hours of March 3rd to the early morning hours of March 4th Queen Nails located at 239 Loudon Road, was burglarized.  The burglary was discovered by an employee arriving for work at approximately 9:00 am on March 4th.  There was forced entry into the building and money was taken. 

 

It appears the suspect(s) may have been familiar with the business.  The suspect(s) gained entry by breaking a door.  The perpetrators vandalized the business by causing extensive damage within.  The cost of the repairs will be in the thousands of dollars.

 

Nothing else appeared to have been taken.  Evidence was collected from the scene.

 

The building was evacuated briefly by the Concord Fire Department because of a chemical spill that was discovered while Concord Police Officers were securing the crime scene.  Three Concord Police Officers suffered exposure as a result of that spill.  None of the Officers required medical treatment.

 


Release Date:  January 11, 2008 - Fraud/Identity Theft

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspects in a recent fraud/identity theft case.

 

On 12/28/2007 two females entered businesses in Concord, NH and are suspected of committing theft.  The incidents occurred at Cassie’s Bridal and Gift Shop located at 41 North Main Street and an office located at the Pillsbury Building on the Concord Hospital Campus.

 

The thefts occurred during the afternoon hours.   During the two incidents, only one employee was on duty at the time.  One suspect distracted the employee by engaging in conversation and asking questions.  Meanwhile, the second suspect entered the employees’ office area, eventually stealing the employee’s credit cards, driver’s license, and social security card.

 

The victims’ credit cards were used at assorted retail stores in Londonderry, Manchester, and Bedford, NH.  The cards were fraudulently used to purchase merchandise before the victims discovered that their credit cards were missing.

 

The Concord Police are seeking to identify the two female suspects in this case.  The photographs below depict the suspects entering a retail store prior to using one of the stolen credit cards. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Release Date: December 17, 2005 - Arson/Homicide

 

The Concord Police Department is asking the public for their assistance with information relating to the fire which caused Robert McMillan's death.

 

Attorney General Kelly A. Ayotte, Concord Police Chief Jerome K. Madden, New Hampshire State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan, and Concord Fire Chief Christopher Pope report that the cause of the fire at 282-284 North State Street in Concord has been ruled an arson, and the death of 84 year old Robert McMillan has been ruled a homicide. 

 

Police and fire officials responded to 282-284 North State Street in Concord at approximately 12:30 a.m. on December 9, 2005, after receiving a report of a structure fire at that location.   Emergency personnel subsequently removed Robert McMillan from the residence, and transported him to Concord Hospital.  He was then medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he later died.  An autopsy was subsequently conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Massachusetts.  The cause of Robert McMillan’s death was ruled to be thermal injury, and the manner of his death was ruled a homicide.
